Localized Metadata Opportunities
Check whether your listing is really localized: title, description, declared languages and the vocabulary users in each country type.
Privacy and cost
This tool uses paid live data. A run costs 10 credits, only charged when it succeeds. Recent identical requests are served from a cache, which keeps costs and prices low.
No subscription required for credits.
How it works
- Enter the app, the store and 2 to 6 countries (the first is your base market), with an optional seed phrase.
- The tool reads the listing in each country, compares it with the base market and fetches the local autocomplete for the phrase.
- It flags: identical title or description despite a different language, undeclared language (App Store), very short title and local suggestions absent from the listing.
Example
An English-language app compared on the us, fr and ma storefronts: the report tells you whether the French storefront's title stayed in English, whether French appears in the declared languages and which French autocomplete suggestions appear nowhere in the listing.
What the result means
Findings are factual (identical text, language missing from the declared list). Missing local suggestions come from the storefront's autocomplete: they are vocabulary leads, not volumes or translation orders. Google Play does not list supported languages, so that check is skipped there.
Common problems this tool helps with
- A listing identical in every country that loses local searches.
- An app declaring a language without really translating it, or the reverse.
- Local vocabulary (synonyms, common terms) absent from the title and description.
- Prioritising which countries to translate first.
Frequently asked questions
Must I translate the whole title?
Not necessarily: keep the brand name and translate descriptive words. The tool only flags strictly identical titles.
What are missing suggestions?
Autocomplete suggestions of that country whose words are covered neither by the title, the subtitle nor the description.
Can I analyse Google Play?
Yes. Declared-language checking is not possible on Google Play; the other findings are.
