App Store Autocomplete Suggestions

See what the App Store suggests when someone types your keyword in a given country: keyword ideas for your title, subtitle and keyword field.

Privacy and cost

This tool runs a live check on our servers. Free accounts get 3 live checks per day in total across all such tools. We keep your report in your account so you can delete it any time.

How it works

  1. Enter a seed keyword and choose the country (the storefront determines the suggestions).
  2. The tool queries the App Store's search hints service with the X-Apple-Store-Front header of the chosen country.
  3. You get the suggestions in the order Apple returns them, ready to copy or export as CSV.

Example

With the keyword "meditation" in the US storefront the App Store suggests, among others, "meditation timer" and "meditation music"; with "photo" in the French storefront you see "photo collage" and "photoroom". Suggestions change over time.

What the result means

Each row is an autocomplete suggestion: Apple proposes it when people type your keyword, and the order is only a hint of popularity. It is NOT a search volume: Apple publishes none and this tool never shows one. Use suggestions as leads to verify.

Common problems this tool helps with

  • Finding real phrases users type to complete your title and keywords.
  • Seeing whether a phrase is suggested in one country but not in another.
  • Avoiding guessed keywords: starting from what the store itself proposes.
  • Spotting long-tail variants around a main keyword.

Frequently asked questions

Do suggestions show a search volume?

No. Apple publishes no volumes. The suggestion order is a popularity hint, nothing more.

Why do suggestions change by country?

The suggestion service works per storefront: each country has its own search habits and language.

Can I use every suggestion in my keywords?

No, keep the ones that truly describe your app. A popular but off-topic suggestion hurts conversion.
