How it works

  1. Enter a name, a numeric id (id389801252), a bundle id or paste the apps.apple.com URL, then pick the country.
  2. The tool queries Apple's public Search/Lookup API for that storefront; the id is parsed from the URL and no other address is ever called.
  3. You get title, developer, category, price, rating and rating count, size, version, languages, screenshots and release notes.

Example

The URL https://apps.apple.com/us/app/instagram/id389801252 with the United States storefront returns Instagram's listing as the US store publishes it: title, developer, average rating and rating count, file size, current version and last update date.

What the result means

This is the public data of the chosen storefront: rating and rating count differ by country. Apple's public API does not expose the subtitle, the hidden keyword field, the per-star rating breakdown, search volume or download counts. Data can be up to 6 hours old.

Why is the subtitle missing?

Because Apple's public API (iTunes Search/Lookup) does not return it. We would rather show nothing than guess.

Is the rating the same in every country?

No. Apple computes rating and rating count per storefront: change the country to see the local rating.

Does this tool give download numbers?

No. Apple does not publish them; only the average rating and the number of ratings are available.
