How it works

  1. Enter a package name (com.spotify.music), an app name, or paste the play.google.com URL, then pick the country.
  2. The id is parsed from the URL; the listing is read from the public Play Store page through a replaceable adapter, with caching and rate limiting.
  3. You get title, short description, description, rating, rating breakdown per star, install band, size, version and last update.

Example

The package com.spotify.music in the United States returns Spotify's listing: title, short description (80-character limit), average rating, a 1-5 star histogram, install band and last update date.

What the result means

Google Play has no public listing API: data comes from the public store page, which can change or be blocked. Installs are a band (1M+, 10M+), not an exact count, and no search volume is available. Data can be up to 6 hours old.

Where does the Google Play data come from?

Is the install count exact?

No, Google shows a band (for example 10M+). The tool reports it as is.

Why does the language change the title?

Listings are localized: country and language determine the title, description and rating shown.
