Case Converter
Paste text and pick a style: uppercase, title case, sentence case or code formats such as camelCase and kebab-case.
Privacy and cost
This tool runs in your browser. What you type or paste is not sent to our servers and it costs nothing to use.
How it works
- Paste or type your text.
- Click the style you want: the result updates instantly.
- Copy the result. Code styles convert each line separately.
Example
"the complete guide to on-page SEO for small businesses" in title case gives "The Complete Guide to On-Page SEO for Small Businesses"; in kebab-case: "the-complete-guide-to-on-page-seo-for-small-businesses".
What the result means
Title case keeps short words (to, of, for, and…) lowercase except at the start and end, respects acronyms already in capitals (SEO) and capitalizes both parts of a hyphenated word. Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence, but it also lowercases everything else, including proper nouns: proofread it.
Common problems this tool helps with
- Titles and headings typed in capitals that read like shouting.
- Keyword lists to normalize to lowercase before an import.
- File names, CSS classes or variables that need kebab-case or snake_case.
- Title case applied by hand with inconsistencies from one title to the next.
Frequently asked questions
Are accents kept in uppercase?
Yes: "été" becomes "ÉTÉ". For code styles you can tick the option that removes accents.
Does title case follow an official rule?
No, there is no single standard. The tool applies a common convention: short words lowercase, the first letter of every other word capitalized.
What about Arabic?
Arabic has no upper or lower case: only separator-based styles (kebab-case, snake_case…) change Arabic text.
Is my text sent to a server?
No, everything runs in your browser.
