This tool runs a live check on our servers. Free accounts get 3 live checks per day in total across all such tools. We keep your report in your account so you can delete it any time.
How it works
- Enter a public URL. Our server fetches the page, /robots.txt and /sitemap.xml (three requests at most).
- Independent rules check indexing, content, images and links, social and structured data, response speed and security.
- Each issue shows its severity (error, warning, notice) and the affected snippet. Export the report as JSON or CSV.
Example
A page with no meta description, two different canonical tags and a 72-character title: the report flags one error (multiple canonicals) and two warnings (title too long, missing meta description) under Indexing and Content.
What the result means
The score is the mean of the category scores: each error removes 20 points, each warning 8 and each notice 2. It is a prioritisation aid, not an official Google grade. The analysis covers the HTML the server returns; JavaScript is not executed.
Common problems this tool helps with
- A page that returns 200 but carries a noindex or a canonical to another URL.
- Missing or duplicate titles, meta descriptions or H1s on key pages.
- Images without alt text, or http resources on an https page.
- A page blocked by robots.txt without the technical team knowing.
Frequently asked questions
Does the tool run the page's JavaScript?
No. It analyses the HTML returned by the server, like a crawler that does not execute scripts. Content added only by JavaScript is not seen.
Why is the score below 100 when everything looks fine?
Notices (for example a missing CSP header) remove a few points. They are recommendations, not errors.
