How it works
- Enter the site address; tick external link checking if you want it.
- The crawler visits your pages, flags every failing internal link and tests a sample of external links.
- The table shows the broken URL, its status, its type and the pages that link to it.
Example
The crawler visits 22 pages and reports /old-offer returning 404, linked from the homepage and the blog, plus one external link that no longer responds.
What the result means
A broken link returns an error (often 404 or 410) or does not respond. Broken internal links hurt crawling and user experience; external links are tested on a limited sample, so the list is not exhaustive. Some sites block bots and can show as broken by mistake.

Are all external links checked?
No, only a limited sample to stay fast. Every internal link on the crawled pages is checked.
Why does a working link show as broken?
Some sites refuse bots or rate-limit requests. Open the link in your browser to confirm.
